The American Center's goals can be organized within the following framework:
Anticipate Demonstrate accuracy in predicting emerging business, social, technological and creative issues that will affect children's media
Analyze Produce thoughtful, objective issue analyses based on research aggregation and evaluation.
Convene and sustain an Executive Roundtable of industry leaders that will serve as a forward-looking, off-the-record forum on controversial issues, including the potential for self-regulation.
Act Establish a credible and effective voice for the industry, building visibility for children's media business realities and strengthening the perception that media is serving children's needs.
Become the "resource of choice" on issues related to children's media. |

In addition to the ACCM, Fellows was President of the American
Telecommunications Group (successor to CEN), which ceased operations in 2003, and The Hartford Gunn Institute. He is Chairman of the Publishing Committee for Current, a biweekly publication directed to public broadcasting and educational telecommunications personnel nationwide. read more |
